GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Three former Gator swimmers received their degrees on Saturday at the University of Florida's commencement ceremonies held in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. Christian-Paul Homer, Richard Munch, and Hrafnhildur Luthersdottir each received additional degrees.
The former swimmers were among a list of 28 Florida student-athletes who participated in Saturday's graduation ceremonies.
In the pool, the Gators had a remarkable impact on the history and tradition behind Florida Swimming.
Homer was a three-time All-American and a member of Florida's 2014 200 Medley Relay SEC Title.
Munch was a two-time All-American in the pool and a three-time Academic All-American.
Luthersdottir was a three-time All-SEC Selection, a three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll member, and a 2012 Olympian.
