Two Gators Named to Pro Bowl

Reggie Nelson and Mike Pouncey were selected to the 2016 NFL Pro Bowl.
The NFL announced the roster pool for the 2016 Pro Bowl on Tuesday night and former Gator football players Reggie Nelson and Mike Pouncey were selected. It's the first selection for Nelson and third-straight for Pouncey.

The Gators have had a former player selected to the Pro Bowl each year since 2009. Overall, Florida has had 21 players make 63 appearances in the annual all-star game.

Nelson, a member of the Cincinnati Bengals since 2010, is the NFL's leader in interceptions (8) this season. He also ranks third on the Bengals with 64 tackles on the season. Nelson is the first Bengals safety selected since David Fulcher in 1990.

Pouncey, in his fifth season with the Miami Dolphins, has started every game this season at center. According to the Dolphins web site, his three-straight selections arethe most by a Dolphins interior offensive lineman since guard Keith Sims was selected to three consecutive games following the 1993-95 seasons.
