
Harrison Bader Chosen To NCAA College World Series All-Tournament Team

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Junior Harrison Bader was named to the 2015 NCAA College World Series Team announced on Wednesday night after Virginia defeated Vanderbilt, 4-2, to claim its first national title. He batted .348 (8-for-23) over the Gators' five games at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, with five RBI, four runs, two homers, a pair of doubles and a .696 slugging percentage.
Tabbed as a third-team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), Bader had a .297 batting average in 67 games and tied for the team lead in doubles (16), while ranking second on the Orange and Blue in total bases (145), RBI (66), walks (33), homers (17), and slugging percentage (.566). He also boasted a perfect fielding percentage and was among the national leaders with 10 outfield assists. The left fielder was second on the squad with a .326 (15-for-46) clip in UF's 10 NCAA Tourney contests and occupied the top spot in RBI (14), homers (4) and doubles (3).
Florida finished its campaign with a 52-18 overall mark, the second-most victories in school history, and was one win shy of reaching the CWS Finals for the third time.
