Eight Gators Set for NFL Divisional Weekend Action

The NFL Playoffs are in full swing, with four games on tap for this weekend during the Divisional round. Eight former Gator football players are still active with a shot to play in Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, Calif.

Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots (Saturday, 4:35 p.m., CBS)

Linebacker Jon Bostic and the Patriots had a bye last weekend and host the Chiefs on Saturday, who dominated the Houston Texans in a 30-0 win last Saturday. Chiefs' defensive lineman Jaye Howard started and totaled four tackles, including a sack. Wide receiver Frankie Hammond returned four punts (34 yards) and had one catch for three yards in Kansas City's win last week. The two teams did not meet in the regular season. Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals (Saturday, 8:15 p.m., NBC)

Offensive lineman D.J. Humphries, a first-round pick of the Cardinals in 2015, has yet to see action this season but remains on the active roster. The Cardinals had a bye in the first round while the Packers beat Washington 35-18. In Week 16 of the regular season, the Cardinals beat the Packers 38-8 in Arizona.

Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers (Sunday, 1:05 p.m., FOX)

The only former Gator in this game is quarterback Cam Newton, who finished his collegiate career at Auburn. Carolina beat the Seahawks 27-23 in Seattle during Week 6 of the regular season.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Denver Broncos (Sunday, 4:40 p.m., CBS)

Three Gators (WR Andre Caldwell, OL Max Garcia, LB Lerentee McCray) on the Broncos got an opening-round bye. Marcus Gilbert and the Steelers won a thrilling game in Cincinnati last weekend, defeating the Bengals 18-16 on a game-winning field goal. In the regular season, Pittsburgh traveled to Denver and pulled out a 34-27 win over the Broncos. (WR David Nelson and OL Maurkice Pouncey are on the Steelers injured reserve)
