Finney-Smith earns his first career SEC Player of the Week nod with two 20-point games last week.

Dorian Finney-Smith is the SEC Player of the Week after a pair of 20-point outings led the Gators to wins over Mississippi State and Auburn last week. The Florida senior tallied a double-double vs. Mississippi State with 20 points and 13 rebounds and followed that up with 24 points and eight rebounds in the Gators' rout of Auburn.

It marked his second back-to-back 20-point games of the season, and Finney-Smith needed only 23 field goal attempts to score 44 points in those two games.

Finney-Smith's double-double on Tuesday marked his third straight, becoming the first Gator since Chandler Parsons to record three in a row, joining Marreese Speights, Al Horford, David Lee and Udonis Haslem as the sixth Gator to do so over the past 20 years.

Florida's 95 points in the win vs. Auburn were the most against an SEC opponent since 2012 and the highest point total by any SEC team in league play this season.

The Gators next travel to Nashville to take on Vanderbilt Tuesday at 9 p.m.
