GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Florida football team will travel to Baton Rouge to play LSU on Nov. 19, and the Tigers will make consecutive trips to Gainesville in 2017 and 2018 to make up the Oct. 8 game that was postponed by Hurricane Matthew, Athletic Director Jeremy Foley announced today.
 
The game will be played no later than 3:30 p.m. ET, and Florida fans who wish to purchase tickets will be able to do so at a discounted price through the Gator Ticket Office. Details will be announced at a later date.
 
Florida will host LSU in Gainesville on Oct. 7, 2017, and the 2018 league schedule dates have yet to be determined. The Presbyterian game will be cancelled and not played.
 
Season-ticket holders with tickets to the 2016 LSU and Presbyterian games will have their ticket money from each game applied as a credit toward their 2017 season-ticket costs. This credit will show as a line item on their 2017 invoice that will reduce the total ticket cost for the 2017 season.

If season-ticket holders do not wish to have their monies applied toward the 2017 season, they may receive them as a refund instead. Visit FloridaGators.com/refund to submit your request.

The deadline to request the refund will be Friday, Oct. 28. After the 28th, all monies will be applied toward the 2017 season. 
 
Single-game purchasers can apply their monies from either game (or both, if applicable) toward 2017 season tickets or request a refund. The deadline to request the refund will be Friday, Oct. 28.
 
If fans would like to have the monies applied toward 2017 season tickets, no further action needs to be taken. The Gator Ticket Office will reach out to fans in 2017 to secure season tickets using the credit toward the total cost.
 
University of Florida students will receive a refund for both games back to the payment type used to purchase the season ticket. A separate communication outlining the refund of both games will be sent to all students who purchased season and/or guest tickets for each game.

With the LSU game moving to Gainesville for 2017, the home schedule next year will include matchups with LSU, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Florida State.
 
Insurance payouts from the Southeastern Conference, along with other financial incentives, will cover UF's revenue lost from the games that will not be played this year in Gainesville.
 
"We made this decision to play the game in Baton Rouge," said Foley. "The conference office asked us to find a solution in working with LSU, yet LSU was never a true partner in our discussions. The Southeastern Conference offered some other solutions and the LSU administration made it clear that they were unwilling to consider other reasonable options."

Under SEC Commissioner Regulations, only teams that play all eight conference games would be eligible to play in Atlanta for the SEC Championship.
 
"As I've said all along – we will play anyone, anywhere, anytime," said Head Coach Jim McElwain. "I think I've made that pretty clear. The Gators never run from anyone or dodge anyone."
