Media Tab KeVaughn Allen Preseason All-SEC, Pick Gators 2nd
Wednesday, October 19, 2016 | Men's Basketball
The Gators return seven of their top eight scorers from last season.
The second year of the Mike White Era is opening with high regard for the Gators as the media picked Florida to finish second in the Southeastern Conference. In addition, sophomore KeVaughn Allen has been tabbed as second-team All-SEC after averaging 12.3 points in conference action as a freshman last season. If the Gators are able to follow through on the prediction, it would be the team's best finish since winning the conference in 2014 with a perfect 18-0 record.
