SEC Announces 2017 Baseball TV Schedule

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Beginning March 14, ESPN networks will combine to carry 98 Southeastern Conference baseball games, 75 of which air on SEC Network.

Florida is scheduled to make 11 appearances on network television in 2017 in addition to games that will be available via online streams.

The 2017 schedule ramps up with a special Bases Loaded program on the opening night of conference play, Friday, March 17. The show features a live compilation of seven games – all 14 teams – taking place across the Southeast:

FLORIDA at Auburn (7 p.m.)
South Carolina at Tennessee (7 p.m.)
Kentucky at Texas A&M (7 p.m.)
Missouri at Alabama (7:30 p.m.)
Georgia at LSU (7:30 p.m.)
Mississippi State at Arkansas (8 p.m.)
Vanderbilt at Ole Miss (8 p.m.)

Every Bases Loaded game is also available in its entirety, streaming live via SEC Network +. Additional games available exclusively for streaming on SEC Network + via WatchESPN and the ESPN app will be announced at a later time.

This year's schedule also includes five television wildcard selections, allowing the SEC Network the opportunity to determine the best television matchup at a later date. The schedule closes out with SEC Network airing the entirety of the SEC Baseball Tournament may 23-27, outside of the Championship game on ESPN2 on May 28.

Last season, Florida had the best regular season in school history with a 44-11 record. The Gators finished 52-16 after their fifth trip to the College World Series in the past seven years. The Gators earned their seventh national seed – most in the country since 2009.

The Gators open the 2017 season on Feb. 17 against William and Mary at McKethan Stadium.
