GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Future Florida volleyball player Paige Hammons was named to the 2016 MaxPreps High School All-America First Team on Tuesday (Dec. 20) evening.
This is the second All-America honor this year for Hammons, who was also named to the Under Armour High School All-America First Team back in November.
Hammons signed her National Letter of Intent with the Gators on Nov. 9, and is the program's only incoming freshman for the 2017 campaign.
"With only one senior on our roster, it was important for us to sign the one perfect fit," Florida volleyball head coach Mary Wise said. "We are very fortunate Paige Hammons chose UF. She is one of the best six-rotation hitters in the country, and knows how to win. Her talents and competitive play will help us immediately."
Below is a breakdown of Hammons' prep achievements, both on and off the court.
