Right-Hander Recognized After Stellar Effort at No. 6 Miami
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida junior right-hander Logan Shore was chosen as the Southeastern Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday for the first time in his career after twirling a four-hit shutout against No. 6 Miami on Friday night. He became the first recipient from the Gators since right-hander Aaron Rhodes garnered the honor on April 28, 2014.
Shore's Highlights
The No. 1 Gators (7-1) will face UCF (6-2) on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in Orlando. Jeff Cardozo and Steve Russell will call the action on the Gator IMG Sports Network. The teams will meet again at McKethan Stadium on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and the game will be streamed on SEC Network+ through the Watch ESPN app.

Shore's Highlights
- Tossed his first career shutout as the Gators claimed the series opener at No. 6 Miami, 5-0
- It marked only the eighth time in the 246-game series between the Sunshine State rivals that Florida had blanked Miami, fourth time in Coral Gables and the first time on the road since Feb. 13, 2004
