The Gator had a stellar weekend at his hometown's senior showcase.
Dorian Finney-Smith showed this weekend why there's no place like home.
The Gator turned in a trio of outstanding performances to earn All-Tournament recognition at the Portsmouth Invitational, which showcased 64 seniors from around the country.
Playing in his hometown, Finney-Smith averaged 18.0 points (tied for 3rd) and 9.7 rebounds (5th) and shot 6-for-14 from 3-point range over the course of three games. "Doe-Doe" also notched a pair of double-doubles, preceded by an explosive 25-point performance in his team's opener.
The NBA Draft will be held on June 23, and Finney-Smith projects as a second-round pick according to DraftExpress.com and NBADraft.net.
