Right-Hander Delivered Two-Hit Shutout of Georgia To Set UF Record for Consecutive Wins
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida junior right-hander Logan Shore was chosen as the Southeastern Conference Co-Pitcher of the Week on Monday for the second time this season after tossing a two-hit shutout against Georgia on Friday night. He established a school record with his 13th straight victory, surpassing the mark held by Russ Kibler since 1984. Shore shared the honor with Arkansas junior right-hander Dominic Taccolini and became the first Gator hurler to earn the SEC accolade multiple times in a campaign since Hudson Randall in 2011.

The No. 1 Gators (36-6/13-5 SEC) will begin a crucial league series on Friday night at No. 7 South Carolina (33-8/14-4 SEC). Dave Neal and Ben McDonald will broadcast the game on the SEC Network and Jeff Cardozo and Steve Russell will call the action on the Gator IMG Sports Network.
