GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gator Softball senior infielder's Taylore Fuller and Taylor Schwarz are among 55 graduating UF student-athletes this weekend.
"It's very special," UF head coach Tim Walton said. "Being a college graduate is a very special feeling that you look forward to your whole life. I'm really proud of Taylore (Fuller) and Taylor (Schwarz) for not only dedicating themselves to their major, but doing it in four years and being a two-time national champion is a tremendous accomplishment.
"It's a special feeling to have kids on your team that are graduates from the University of Florida. I can't say it enough, it's really special."
On the field, this duo is part of UF's senior class that is currently 218-31, which currently ranks fifth among four-year class records in program history. Fuller, Schwarz, Kirsti Merritt, Aubree Munro and Kelsey Stewart are trying to catch UF's 2011 class which boasted a 238-33 mark during their four years.
Overall, this group has won two SEC Championships (2013, 2015), one SEC Tournament Championship (2013) and two NCAA Championships (2014, 2015) with potentially more accolades to come in the next month.
