Summer Ball Winding Down

As we near August, the Gators are winding down their summer baseball schedules around the country.
With most leagues wrapping up play next week, here's how UF players have performed thus far.
Shortstop Dalton Guthrie and catcher Mike Rivera have been inconsistent at the plate, but have been stellar on defense. Guthrie has played in 16 games with 13 starts and made just one error, while Rivera has thrown out seven of 11 basestealers in 11 games.
Danny Reyes (stats) has played in 13 games and is hitting .143 (5-for-35) for the Braves. He has three doubles and one home run on the summer.
Harwich Mariners
Jonathan India (stats) is batting .279 (12-for-43) in 12 games for the Mariners, who are 21-13-2 and in second place in the East Division. He has four doubles and four RBI with 10 walks to go along with three stolen bases.
Falmouth Commodores
Brady Singer (stats) has been lights out this summer. In four starts, he has allowed just two earned runs in 20 innings and has 16 strikeouts with two walks.
Teammate Deacon Liput (stats) has a .195 average (8-for-41) with a double and home run to his credit while totaling nine RBI.
Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox
JJ Schwarz (stats) is hitting .207 (6-for-29) in limited action with the Red Sox and has one home run and five RBI this summer.
Blake Reese (stats) has played in 23 games and is hitting .295 (28-for-95) for the Kingfish with seven doubles, two triples and a home run. He's also totaled 16 RBI on the summer.
Lakeshore Chinooks
Nick Horvath (stats) has soley pitched this summer with the Chinooks and has 10 appearances with a 3.37 earned run average. He has eight scoreless outings and has 19 strikeouts in 18.2 innings pitched.
Madison Mallards
Nelson Maldonado (stats) is hitting .315 average (17-for-54) and has five doubles and a home run for the Mallards, who are 31-21 and in second place in the South Division.
On the mound, Michael Byrne (stats) has made five appearances, including three starts, and has a 4.50 earned run average in 16 innings pitched. He also has 19 strikeouts on the summer.
Mark Koloszvary (stats) has played in 21 games with an outstanding .342 average (25-for-73) and 19 RBI on the summer. He has 10 doubles and a pair of home runs along with 12 walks for the Oilers, who are 39-7 and in first place in the league.
Eddy Demurias (stats) has made five pitching appearances and also seen action in 14 games in the field. On the mound, he's got a 0.87 earned run average with 12 strikeouts in 10.1 innings. At the plate he has a .261 average with eight RBI.
Christian Hicks (stats) is batting .250 (14-for-56) with 12 RBI on the summer for the Boom and was selected to play in the Florida League All Star game.
MacGregor Hines (stats) has been stellar on the mound for the Bombers, with 32 innings pitched and just two earned runs allowed. He has a 0.56 earned run average in seven appearances with 29 strikeouts and nine walks. The Bombers lead the league with a 35-5 record.
Hunter Bowling (stats) has made three appearances for the Cardinals and pitched just two innings and allowed one earned run.

Alex Faedo (3-0, 0.56 ERA) has starred for Team USA this summer. He has totaled a team-best 21 strikeouts in 16 innings pitched with just three walks allowed.
