Collegiate races begin at 7:55 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., with the high school races running from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Admission is free. Parking is available at the UF Levin College of Law and Gainesville Woman's Club.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida men's and women's cross country teams will welcome nearly 30 collegiate programs and upwards of 100 high school programs for the Mountain Dew Invitational, which is scheduled for Saturday (Sep. 24) morning at the university's Mark Bostick Golf Course.

On the men's side, the Gators, along with Florida Gulf Coast and North Florida, all of which are ranked in the top 15 of the latest USTFCCCA South Region Rankings, headline the competition. The women's side are regionally-ranked Florida, Florida State, and UCF.

UF's men and women both
won their season-opening races at the Covered Bridge Open three weeks ago.

MOUNTAIN DEW INVITATIONAL HISTORY
- Since Florida's home event was renamed the Mountain Dew Invitational in 2005, the women have won 10 titles, including victories each of the past two years
- Florida's men have amassed eight Mountain Dew Invitational victories, but has finished second each of the past two years
- Six female and seven male Gators have claimed individual titles at the Mountain Dew Invitational
- Last year marked the fourth time in five years Florida's women had the top three Division I finishers at the MDI
- Florida's men have had at least four top-10 finishers nine of the 11 times this race has been conducted
- Last year, Taylor Tubbs and Becky Greene became two of seven Gators in history with multiple top-five finishes at the MDI
- Elisabeth Bergh became the 10th UF freshman to crack the overall top 10 in meet history at last year's event
