Two Sellouts Announced as Team Rides Win Streak into Top 20

The Gators have won seven straight games, and Gator Nation has taken notice.
Gator Nation has taken notice of their men's basketball team's hot streak. Following seven straight wins and moving into the AP top 20, the Gators announced Monday they have sold out the Jan. 21 date vs. Vanderbilt and the Feb. 4 game vs. Kentucky.
That brings the team's total to five sellouts since re-opening Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center following the building's $64.5 million renovation, having already defeated Little Rock, Tennessee and Georgia in front of sellout audiences.
The Gators also moved into the top 20 on Monday – voted 19th in the Associated Press poll – for the first time since the team was ranked No. 1 to close the 2013-14 regular season. Florida sits at 5-0 in the SEC for the seventh time in program history. In Florida's visit to No. 24 South Carolina on Wednesday, head coach Mike White looks to lead UF to a 6-0 SEC start, something only Billy Donovan has ever done at Florida (four times in 19 seasons).
Tickets remain available for the Feb. 2 home date against Missouri.
