College GameDay Returns to UF

College GameDay makes its fifth trip to Gainesville next Saturday, Feb. 4, when the Gators host Kentucky. Only Duke, Kansas and Kentucky have hosted the show more times than Florida. The Gators are 5-2 all-time on the featured College GameDay game, including 5-1 against Kentucky and 3-1 vs. the Cats in Gainesville.

Doors will open at 9:15 a.m. for the show, which runs from 11 a.m. to noon, and breakfast will be served to the first 500 students at 9 a.m. Saturday night's Florida-Kentucky matchup is sold out, any but fan without a ticket to the game can still support the Gators from 11-12 in Exactech Arena. Admission to the show is free.

College GameDay Covered by State Farm is hosted by Rece Davis, who is joined by analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams. Bilas will join Dan Shulman and reporter Maria Taylor on the call of the game. An evening edition of the show will lead into the game telecast at 8 p.m., with the game set to start at 8:15 p.m.

This will mark the seventh time the Florida-Kentucky rivalry has been featured on College GameDay, second only to eight appearances by Duke-North Carolina.
