
Florida Adds Five Mid-Year Enrollees to Football Roster

Kyree Campbell, Kemore Gamble, James Houston, Kadeem Telfort and Kadarius Toney are now full-time students at UF.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida has received a jolt of depth and talent for spring football as the Gators have welcomed five mid-year enrollees to campus for the spring semester.
The Gators list of early enrollees includes, defensive lineman Kyree Campbell (Woodbridge, Va./Wyoming Seminary Upper School), ), tight end Kemore Gamble (Miami/Miami Southridge), linebacker James Houston (Fort Lauderdale/American Heritage), athlete Kadarius Toney (Eight Mile, Ala./Blount) and offensive lineman Kadeem Telfort (Miami, Fla./Booker T. Washington).
These freshmen join a team that finished 9-4 in 2016 and was the SEC Eastern Division champion with a 6-2 league mark. True freshmen have made an impact during Jim McElwain's first two seasons in Gainesville as they have achieved the following…

- 17 total touchdowns
- 172 rushes for 778 yards
- 87 receptions for 1,522 yards

Meet the Gators
Kyree Campbell
DT / Woodbridge, Va. / Wyoming Seminary Upper School (Pa.)
- Finished his senior season at Woodbridge High School with 62 tackles (18 for loss), eight sacks, four pass deflections, two interceptions and three blocked kicks
- Played in the 2016 Offense-Defense All-American Bowl
- Attended Freedom High School in Woodbridge, VA prior to enrolling at Wyoming Seminary College Prep in 2016
- Named to the Virginia 6A all-state first team as a senior in 2015
- Posted 12.5 sacks as a sophomore and helped the Freedom Eagles reach the playoffs for the first time in school history

Kemore Gamble
TE / Miami / Southridge
- Helped the Spartans to the 2016 FHSAA Class 8A State Championship
- After starting the season 2-2, Southridge won nine-straight games en route to the state championship
- Totaled 15 receptions for 184 yards and five touchdowns in 2015
- Participated in The Opening Miami 2016
- Traveled with WarZone, a 7-on-7 all-star football squad, to the Pylon 7v7 Nationals in Dallas in summer 2016
- Went to high school with fellow signee Shawn Davis
- Played for coach Billy Rolle

James Houston
LB / Fort Lauderdale / American Heritage
- Suffered an ACL injury that prevented him from playing his senior season
- Totaled 37 tackles (20 solo), a sack, an interception and a forced fumble during his junior season in 2015

Kadarius Toney
ATH / Eight Mile, Ala. / Blount
- Finished his senior season with 2,894 yards and 32 touchdowns through the air and also ran for 894 yards and 15 touchdowns
- Made the 2016 AL.com Super All-State team
- Played in the 2016 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic
- Named Offensive MVP of the 2016 AL.com All-Coastal Alabama team
- Passed for 3,604 yards and 37 touchdowns and rushed for 896 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2015
- Selected to the AL.com Coastal Alabama first team and Class 6A All-State second team during his junior season
- Helped Blount to a 20-5 record in his last two seasons
- Played for coach Lev Holly

- Helped the Tornadoes to a 9-4 record and a semifinal appearance in the 2016 FHSAA Class 4A State Championship
- Previously played at Miami Norland with current Gator linebacker Vosean Joseph
- Played for coach Tim "Ice" Harris
