Five Former Gators Advance to Final Stage of LPGA Qualifying School

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- After four rounds of play, five Gators advanced to the final stage of LPGA Qualifying School.
Mia Piccio, Kelly Grassel, Maria Torres, Karolina Vlckova and Sam Wagner all qualified after finishing in the top 80 of Stage II.
Torres was the top Florida qualifier finishing tied for 21th on the leaderboard. She finished with a 72-hole tally of 287 (-1). Torres was as high as tied for 15th as she was two-under-par through 36 holes of play.
The five Gators will be back in Florida for Stage III of qualifying which starts on November 27th. The event will take place at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
