Gators in the NFL – Week Eight

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Another Sunday full of NFL action has come and gone, and 48 Gators on 26 teams took to the field for week seven action on the gridiron.
Gators can be found all throughout the NFL, and the 48 current Gators in the NFL puts Florida inside the top-5 for the most players from one university.
Carlos Dunlap stood out this week for the Bengals, recording three solo tackles, including one sack. Dunlap also got it done in coverage with a pass deflection and and interception that he returned 16 yards to the house. Dunlap was a second round pick in the 2010 draft and has been a two time Pro Bowler for the Bengals. While at UF Dunlap recorded 56 total tackles and 19.5 sacks, which is tied for the 10th most program history. Dunlap also recorded seven pass deflections and forced one fumble while at Florida.
