Ann-Lorrayne Bzoch performed nearly 35 hours of community service since the start of the season
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Redshirt junior defensive specialist Ann-Lorrayne Bzoch was named to the 2017 SEC Volleyball Community Service Team, the conference office announced Wednesday.
Bzoch completed nearly 35 hours of community service since the start of September. She was part of a Hurricane Irma cleanup project, spent time with patients at UF Shands Hospital as part of Gator Club, and performed the majority of her hours as part of Reading Club and as a Gator Mentor for students at a local elementary school.
Bzoch and the Gators, who are the overall No. 2 seed for the NCAA Tournament, begin postseason play Thursday night against Alabama State. First serve in Exactech Arena at Stephen C. O'Connell Center is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
