Gators in the NFL – Week 15

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Another Sunday full of NFL action has come and gone, and 47 Gators on 27 teams took to the field for Week 15 action on the gridiron.
Gators can be found all throughout the NFL, and the 47 current Gators in the NFL puts Florida inside the top 5 for the most players from one university.
Antonio Morrison, a second-year pro for the Indianapolis Colts, had a great game Sunday, recording four solo tackles and eight assisted tackles.
Morrison was drafted by Indianapolis in the 2016 NFL Draft with the 125th pick in the fourth round. Morrison has started 13 games this season and has recorded 55 tackles.
While at Florida he recorded 287 tackles, 132 were solo while 155 were assisted. He added 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and fumble recovery and an interception to his career totals as a Gator. As a senior he was a unanimous First Team All-SEC selection after earning second-team honors as a junior.
