GAINESVILLE, Fla.— The popularity of Gator Gymnastics meets brings about changes to Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center parking lot access, starting for the Feb. 10 meet versus No. 9 Georgia.
The goal is to get all fans to the arena in as little time as possible. With that in mind, the University of Florida Police Department recommended the following adjustments to help fans minimize time moving through the O'Connell Center parking lot.
Fans with the season parking pass can access the lot from either:
Gale Lemerand Drive
SW 2nd Avenue
No parking pass? No problem. Those fans can access the lot at:
SW 2nd Avenue
UFPD and O'Connell Center staff will redirect fans without parking passes to SW 2nd Avenue. These attendants will be at University Avenue and Stadium Road. Fans with parking passes should be prepared to show the pass to gain access to Gale Lemerand Drive.
Gator gymnastics fans can find their parking options on this map.
Parking Shuttle:
Fans are also encouraged to take advantage of the complimentary parking shuttle. The parking shuttle transports fans from the UF Commuter Lot on Gale Lemerand Drive to the O'Connell Center. For more information, visit FloridaGators.com.
Once the O'Connell Center lot and garage are at capacity, fans will be directed to the parking shuttle.
