Friday night's matchup features two of the top juniors in the nation -- Florida's
Alex Faedo (3-1, 2.93 ERA) vs. LSU's Alex Lange (3-1, 5.04 ERA). On Saturday, Gators sophomore
Brady Singer (2-0, 1.50 ERA) will match up against one of the top pitcher's in the nation this season, Tigers' leftie Jared Poche (5-0, 0.25 ERA).
Sunday's series finale will pit UF sophomore right-hander
Jackson Kowar (3-0, 2.19 ERA) against LSU freshman Eric Walker (3-0, 2.67 ERA).
SERIES HISTORY
LSU leads the all-time series 60-45-1, however Florida leads 24-17 against the Tigers in Gainesville. Last year, LSU won the series 2-1 in Baton Rouge and the teams split a pair of games in the SEC Tournament in Hoover.
