
For the second time this season, the Gators will face Florida State in the Fresh from Florida Sunshine Showdown. Tuesday's nights matchup will be at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville at 6 p.m.
Florida (16-9, 2-4 SEC) won the first meeting against Florida State (18-7, 6-3 ACC) with a 1-0 shutout victory in Gainesville on March 14. Four UF freshmen combined to limit the Seminoles to just four hits and no runs in the first meeting between the two teams. Dating back to last year's Super Regional, Florida State has not scored a run on Florida in 31 consecutive innings. UF has shut out FSU three straight games (5-0, 7-0, 1-0).
Freshman
Garrett Milchin will be making his first career start for Florida on the mound. He has pitched 7.1 innings on the year with two earned runs allowed and nine strikeouts.Â

Series History
Florida State leads the overall series against Florida 128-113-1, however the Gators are 13-3 (.813) over the past 16 games against FSU, including a 5-1 record last year and a Super Regional victory over the Noles. Florida beat FSU 1-0 on March 14.Â
