Florida took home the BIG EAST Attacker and Defender of the Week for the second week in a row.

Sammi Burgess were both recognized by the BIG EAST for their efforts in Florida's win over Towson on March 5, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Bresnahan earned BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week honors after recording the 71st caused turnover of her career against the Tigers, which broke the UF all-time caused turnover record of 70, previously held by Shannon Gilroy.
Bresnahan also collected two ground balls in the victory, and helped the Gators defense hold Towson to a season-low six goals. For the season, Bresnahan has recorded 11 ground balls, eight caused turnovers, and one draw control.

Sammi Burgess was named the BIG EAST Attacker of the Week.
Burgess recorded three goals, four assists, and three ground balls versus the Tigers. Her four assists are tied for the most assists in a single game in Florida history. For the season, Burgess is leading the Gators with 18 points (10 goals, eight assists).
