Florida hit .323 as a team (50-for-155) with 18 extra base hits for a whopping .497 slugging percentage.
  • Florida's offensive output against Vanderbilt (.342 average, 30 runs, 40 hits) was its most in over two years for a three game series. In 2015 against South Carolina the Gators scored 38 runs on 44 hits in a three-game sweep.
  • Senior Ryan Larson continues to lead the team after another hot week. He hit .636 (7-for-11) in three games at Vanderbilt and had a 5-for-5 night in the series opener in Nashville.
  • Sophomore Deacon Liput has slowly climbed out of his season-opening slump, raising his average to .246 on the year. SEC play has helped dramatically, as he is hitting .333 in 15 games.
  • Freshman Austin Langworthy went a month between at bats after having surgery to repair a broken hamate bone in his right hand. He returned to the lineup last week with a bang, hitting .412 (7-for-17) with 5 RBI to earn SEC Freshman of the Week honors. He also drew five walks, bringing his season total to 20 -- which leads the team this season despite his extended absence.
  • Freshman Garrett Milchin has become a go-to option out of the bullpen, compiling five scoreless outings in a row and lowering his season ERA to 0.93.
