FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Florida's men's golf team clinched its fifth team title of the year Sunday at the Mason Rudolph Championship after shooting 12-under on its last seven holes to card a 271 (-13) for the day. Horsfield also put himself in the Gator record books as his stroke total of 202 is tied for ninth in program history while his score to-par of 11-under is tied for seventh.

Head Coach J.C. Deacon
On his team's victory:
"It was some of the most clutch, gutsy golf that I've ever seen from a team. They played their best golf when they needed it the most and that's what we all strive to do when we're practicing and preparing for tournaments and they accomplished it today.
Alejandro Tosti shot an unbelievable 66 and
Gordon Neale finished birdie-eagle to do the same. It was another really clutch team win. I'm very, very proud of the guys. It was special."
Â
On Sam Horsfield's individual victory:
"Sam is rounding back into form. This is the type of player he is and we need him to be like that. We were struggling a little bit early and he put the team on his shoulders."
Â
On what the win means for the team heading into the postseason:
"We're just getting going. This is when this team wanted to shine, in the postseason, and this is what we're built for. This is a great step leading into the postseason, but our work is just beginning, so we've got a long way to go and hopefully a lot more numbers to add to the [five wins this season]."
