According to a press release from UF's Department of Tourism, Recreation & Sport Management, Foley will join the sport management faculty and serve as an instructor in the sport management program, which enrolls approximately 300 undergraduates and 55 graduate students.
Foley started his career at Florida in 1976, fresh out of graduate school at Ohio University. He began as an intern in the ticket office and worked his way to athletic director in 1992. The Gators won 27 national titles during his tenure.
