WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The University of Florida men's golf team had its season come to a close on Wednesday, with an eighth-place finish at the West Lafayette Regional.

Freshman Andy Zhang tallied four birdies in the final round while sophomore Gordon Neale carded three of his own.

UNLV took the top spot in the team competition, shooting a final-round 299 (+11) to finish at 872 (+8). New Mexico's Andrej Bevins and Illinois' Nick Hardy tied for the individual medal, finishing the tournament at 213 (-3).

UF carded a 24-over 312 in Wednesday's final round and finished at 27-over (891) for the event.
