ATHENS, Ga. – Anna Danilina and Belinda Woolcock advanced to the NCAA Singles Championships Round of 16, while the Gator tandem of Brooke Austin and Kourtney Keegan cruised in their opening round of the NCAA Doubles Championships held at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex on Thursday.
Josie Kuhlman dropped a tough second-round singles match, while the pair of Anna Danilina and Ingrid Neel dropped a heartbreaking three-setter to end their respective runs at the national event.

Josie Kuhlman dropped a tough second-round singles match, while the pair of Anna Danilina and Ingrid Neel dropped a heartbreaking three-setter to end their respective runs at the national event.
Anna Danilina
- Danilina came out focused from the start, winning the first five games and the last four of her 6-1, 6-1 second round victory against Texas Tech's No. 58 Felicity Maltby.
- The win extended Danilina's singles win streak to 15.
- In the opening round, Danilina produced a stunning 6-2, 6-3 victory against the tournament's No. 2 seed Hayley Carter from North Carolina.
- The Gator junior is now 36-9 overall this season and 66-16 in her career.
- Danilina plays Georgia's No. 12 Ellen Perez in the round of 16 on Friday at 10 a.m.
Belinda Woolcock
- The event's No. 6 seed marched into the round of 16 with Thursday's 6-3, 6-4 win against Stanford's No. 28-ranked Melissa Lord.
- The Gator senior, who was named the Most Valuable Player of the NCAA Team Championships, next plays LSU's No. 46-ranked Joana Valle Costa on Friday at 11 a.m.
- Woolcock now sports a 26-10 singles record this year and a 110-38 career mark.
- Woolcock had little trouble with FIU's Andrea Lazaro in the first round, capturing the 6-3, 6-2 first round win.
- This is the third consecutive year Woolcock has earned a berth in the singles tournament. Last year she reached the round of 16.

- "It was a solid well played match, I didn't have to do anything special. I just focused on staying positive and getting the result that I wanted."
Josie Kuhlman
- The Gator junior dropped a tough, 6-4, 7-5 decision to Pepperdine's 37th-ranked Mayar Sherif Ahmed in the second round.
- Kuhlman lost her serve early in the first set and couldn't get it back. She fell behind 2-0 in the second and had to play catch-up the entire second set. She was able to do so in the eighth and ninth games, but dropped her serve in the 11th game and her opponent served out for the win.
- Kuhlman caps her singles record at 31-10 overall this season and is 92-30 in her career.
- Kuhlman was competing in the NCAA Singles Championships for the second time in her career. She reached the semifinals in 2015.
Brooke Austin & Kourtney Keegan
- The reigning NCAA Doubles Champions defeated Michigan's No. 9-ranked Kate Fahey and Alex Najarian, 6-2, 6-2.
- Austin and Keegan advance to the round of 16 where they will play Arkansas' No. 40 Shannon Hudson and Giulia Pairone on Friday at 3 p.m.
- Austin and Keegan improved to 16-8 overall this season and 74-19 as a team.
- Individually, Austin is 77-24 in career doubles matches, while Keegan, a senior, is 116-32.
Anna Danilina & Ingrid Neel
- Florida's No. 11-ranked pair dropped a heartbreaking 6-1, 3-6, 10-6 decision to Georgia Tech's No. 29-ranked Paige Hourigan and Kenya Jones (Georgia Tech).
- The Gator team finished with a 23-5 overall this year, with a 21-3 dual match mark
- Entering Thursday's match they had won six consecutive matches, as well as 13 of their last 14.
- Danilina ended the year with a team-leading 34-7 doubles record.
- Neel capped her impressive freshman year with a 23-5 overall doubles record, all played with Danilina.
Josie Kuhlman & Belinda Woolcock
- Florida's 45th-ranked pair was the No. 6 alternate team and did not make the field.
- Kuhlman and Woolcock had won seven consecutive matches to end the dual match season, as well as 19 of their last 20 matches.
- The Gator tandem ends with a 32-7 overall record this year, as well as a 47-11 career record.
- Their dual match record of 23-3 the No. 3 position this year set a new program standard for wins at the three spot.
- Individually, Woolcock ends her collegiate doubles career with a 93-37 overall record.
- Kuhlman, a junior, is 77-23 in her career, as well as 33-7 this season.
