Tuesday, July 11, 2017 | Football, Scott Carter
The Gators are making the rounds here in Hoover, Ala. Here are some video interviews for you to watch and listen to what they're saying.
HOOVER, Ala. -- Florida head coach Jim McElwain and players Marcell Harris, Martez Ivey and Duke Dawson are here at SEC Football Media Days going from interview to interview.
To help you keep up, here are some fresh videos and social media posts that highlight some of the key topics surrounding the Gators less than a month from the start of fall camp.

McElwain addresses numerous topics here during his main interview with hundreds of media members who cover the SEC, ranging from the quarterback situation to the LSU homecoming game to, yes, that photo of a man on a shark that surfaced earlier this summer. You never know what is going to come up at SEC Football Media Days.

McElwain said junior receiver Antonio Callaway continues to work through his off-the-field issues. He also gave Callaway a big plug for the way he practices.
Mac said Antonio Callaway practices like Julio Jones did at Bama. 'As soon as you walk in the gate, it's on. Antonio is one of those guys.'

Fifth-year senior defensive back brought his hair game to SEC Media Days and the "Paul Finebaum Show." Harris is taking on more of a leadership role in 2017 and has no concerns about UF's reputation as DBU taking a hit after the loss of Teez Tabor, Quincy Wilson and Marcus Maye.

The Gators have overcome the preseason prognosticators the last two seasons by winning back-to-back SEC East titles. They will be vying for a three-peat and this should provide a little extra motivation:

More from McElwain, this time during his stop on SECNow:

McElwain so done with LSU questions. "Man, you guys must be really bored for some stories."

It was clear pretty early that after McElwain discussed the Homecoming matchup with LSU that he tired of the subject quickly. The Gators pointed out something that might help outsiders understand UF's homecoming history:
FYI... #Gators homecoming has been an @SEC opponent 20 of the last 21 years, including 2x vs. LSU (96, 06).

McElwain said he is more excited about this year's offensive line than any of his previous two at Florida. Easy to understand considering Martez Ivey is still around. Ivey was considered the jewel of McElwain's first recruiting class in 2015 and discussed his outlook entering the season.

Senior Duke Dawson has waited his turn to be one of the Gators' marquee players. HIs chance is here and Dawson discusses his outlook for the upcoming season and more:

The Gators just wrapped up their stop here in Hoover and will be heading back to Gainesville soon.
That's a wrap from #SECMD17 for our #Gators crew.
