Burrage is one of top junior players in world.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Jodie Burrage, one of the top junior tennis players in the world, will suit up for the Gators beginning in the fall of 2017, Florida Head Coach Roland Thornqvist announced.
Burrage joins Victoria Emma and Katarzyna Kubicz as newcomers for the reigning NCAA national champions.

- Most recently competed at the 2017 Junior Wimbledon, where she dropped three-setters in her opening round singles and doubles matches
- Reached the round of 16 at the 2017 Australian Open Junior Singles Championships, bowing out in a tough three-setter; reached the quarterfinals of the doubles event
- Career-high WTA world singles ranking of No. 871 on December 6, 2016
- Runner-up at the ITF Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt in March of 2017, falling in three sets to fellow countrywoman Julia Wachaczyk
- In doubles, reached the semifinals of the 2017 AGL Loy Yang Traralgon Junior International in Australia, as well as the semifinals of the 2016 Orange Bowl in Plantation, Florida
- Reached the singles semifinals of the 2016 European Junior Championships held in Klosters, Switzerland
- Singles runner-up at the 2016 XXX Yucatan Cup held in Merida, Mexico, where she won five straight matches to reach the final
- Additional top singles performance include a round of 16 showing at 2016 Eddie Herr ITF
