
Trio of Former Gators Headed to Super Bowl LII

Former UF Former Gators Mike Gillislee, Trey Burton and Jaylen Watkins will play in Super Bowl LII.Mike Gillislee will play in Super Bowl LII with the New England Patriots.
Former UF running back Mike Gillislee (pictured right) plays for the Pats, while former Gators Trey Burton and Jaylen Watkins are members of the Eagles.
Florida has had a former player on a Super Bowl roster for 16 straight years, dating back to the 2003 season when offensive linemen Kenyatta Walker and Lomas Brown helped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat Mo Collins and the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII.
Gillislee, who was inactive during each of New England's playoff wins, gained 383 yards on the ground and scored five touchdowns in during the regular season as a Patriot.
This fall was Gillislee's first season in New England.
Burton reeled in 23 catches for 248 yards and five touchdowns during the regular season, while Watkins turned in 17 tackles and two tackles-for-loss for Philly.
Burton (pictured below) recorded one catch for 12 yards in the NFC Championship game.
This game features a rematch from the 2005 Super Bowl.

Former first round pick and UF defensive lineman Dante Fowler, Jr. (pictured below) played well in Jacksonville's loss to the Patriots.
The second-year pro tallied three tackles and two sacks during the game.
