
Weather Forces Schedule Change for this Weekend’s ITA Kick-Off Event

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Due to recent weather conditions that have made the back six courts unplayable, the men's and women's Intercollegiate Tennis Association Kick-Off Event will now start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, January 27th, with matches scheduled for every three hours.
Matches were originally scheduled to be played simultaneously on all 12 courts with the women at 11 a.m. and the men at 2 p.m., but will now just be played on the front six courts. Women's matches will be played at 9 a.m. and noon, followed by men's matches at 3 and 6 p.m.
On Sunday, matches will begin at 8 a.m. with the women's championship match followed by the women's consolation that will not start before 10 a.m. The men's championship is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. with the consolation not starting before 4 p.m. In the event of rain, matches will be moved inside to the Charles R. and Nancy V. Perry Indoor Facility.

Noon – Louisiana-Monroe vs Marshall
3 p.m. – Florida men vs South Alabama
6 p.m. – South Florida vs Pepperdine
Sunday, January 28th
8 a.m. – Women's Championship
Not Before 10 a.m. – Women's Consolation
2 p.m. – Men's Championship
Not Before 4 p.m. – Men's Consolation
