Gators TV Slate Set for 2018

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Tuesday afternoon, ESPN and the SEC Network announced the television schedule for the upcoming 2018 season. The Gators, scheduled to appear 14 times during the regular season, recorded a 15-7 record in 2017 across the ESPN family of networks.
"The excitement around the sport grows every year and that's why you're seeing more and more games on network television." Head Coach Tim Walton said. "We're grateful to have this platform to showcase the Florida softball brand, not only to our fans that already follow us but to all softball fans across the nation."
Last season, the Gators won their third consecutive and seventh overall SEC Regular Season Championship, made a trip to NCAA Women's College World Series for the eighth time in program history and appeared in the championship series for the third time in the last four years.
Florida starts its 2018 campaign at the USF Wilson-DeMarini Tournament against Illinois State (Feb. 9) in Tampa, Fla. at 4:45 p.m. The first home game at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium, slated for Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 6 p.m., will be against North Florida.
Single game tickets go on sale to the general public Wednesday, Jan. 31, and can be purchased through the Gator Ticket Office.
