
Gators in the NFL – Week Nine

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A total of 48 Gators were on 25 of the 32 teams, as teams continue their quest to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
Alex Anzalone, the second-year linebacker, of the New Orleans Saints appeared in his eighth-straight game. He finished the game with five tackles, three solo. Anzalone added an interception, the first of his career, in the second quarter and returned it for two yards. His interception led a Saints score with a minute left before the end of the half. He also collected a pass defense.
The Cowboys host the Titans in the Monday night showdown, as two former Florida players appear on rosters. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. Eastern Time.
