Opening Night and Season Promotion Schedule

The Florida Gators open the 2018 season on Friday night against Siena at 6:30 p.m., the first of 34 home games at McKethan Stadium.

Coming off the first national title in program history, the Gators enter the year ranked No. 1 in every preseason poll. In addition, the Southeastern Conference coaches voted UF as the league favorite and selected four players to the Preseason All-SEC Teams.

To kick off the season, fans will be treated to a special Opening Night ceremony honoring the 2017 National Champions with several special pre-game moments planned.

OPENING NIGHT CELEBRATION Friday, Feb. 16 vs. Siena (6:30 p.m.)

Replica National Championship Trophy Giveaway – The first 500 fans receive a replica National Championship trophy.
National Championship Trophy – Fans can take their picture with the 2017 National Championship trophy on the concourse.
2017 National Championship Celebration – Be in your seats early for a special pre-game presentation, recognizing the 2017 National Championship as we unveil a championship display in Left Field
Ceremonial First Pitch – 2017 College World Series MVP Alex Faedo will return to throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game
Raise The Flag – Members of the 2017 National Championship team will raise a National Championship flag in the middle of the 1^st inning as we celebrate the 2017 season and officially turn the page to the 2018 season!
Around The Horn Pregame Show – GatorVision's Mitch Gerber will host the Around The Horn Pregame Show on Facebook Live prior to the game with interviews and special features on the team!

Food Truck Fridays – Local food trucks will be set up on the concourse during Friday night home games
Pepsi Family Nights – Purchase 4 GA tickets, 4 hotdogs and 4 sodas for only $24
Gator Booster Nights – Purchase 2-for-1 reserved bleacher seating

SATURDAY

Seniors Nights – Senior citizens, ages 55 and older, can purchase 2-for-1 reserved bleacher seating
Military/First Responders Nights – All military members and first responders, active and retired, can purchase 2-for-1 reserved bleacher seating

Family Sundays – GA tickets, small popcorn and 10oz. sodas are only $1 each
Community National Anthem – Prior to the game, kids 12 and under, can line the field for the National Anthem
Kids Korner – Fun and games set up on the concourse for kids 12 and under
Allison Ables Real Estate Circle the Bases – Kids, 12 and under can circle the bases with Albert following non-conference Sunday games [Allison Ables Real Estate Logo]
Autograph Alley – Immediately following conference Sunday games, Gator players will be available to sign autographs in Autograph Alley down the third base line

IN-GAME GAME PROMOTIONS

Circle K Captain K – One UF student or fan will be selected as the Circle K Captain K. They will receive a gift from Circle K and will be responsible for flipping the K's along the outfield wall.
Davis Chevrolet Lucky Row – Each game we'll select a lucky row of seats. Each fan in the row will receive a special prize courtesy of Davis Chevrolet
Great Clips Foul Ball – The fan to receive the first foul ball into the stands receives a free hair cut courtesy of Great Clips
Jr. Voice of the Gators, presented by Allison Ables Real Estate – One child will be selected to serve as our public address announcer when the Gators bat in the 5th inning.
Moe's K's for Queso – Fans will have the opportunity to text to win queso from Moe's Southwest Grill every time the Gators record 9 strikeouts or more during a game.
Quality Plumbing Strikeout T-Shirts – Every time a Gator pitcher strikes out an opponent two t-shirts will be thrown out courtesy of Quality Plumbing.
Piesanos Seat Upgrade – Each game two fans will be upgraded to box seats and will receive a special gift from Piesanos!
7th Inning Candy Toss – During the end of the 7th inning of select games, Albert will hand candy out to children behind the grandstands.
New concession items – Including quesadillas and shaved ice!
