Gators Open Spring Practices on March 16 & 17 to Public

Florida’s nine early enrollees will start their collegiate careers next month.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- University of Florida football coach Dan Mullen has announced that the first two UF spring practices will be open to the public. The open practices are on March 16 and 17.
Both open practices will be held at the Sanders Practice Fields. Bleachers will be set up on the east side of the practice fields. Fans can congregate on the east and south sides to watch practice.
Times of each practice will be announce at a later date.
In addition, UF will be opening two practices to UF Faculty & Staff and Area Responders and City & Game Officials.
Florida's complete spring practice schedule is below, which includes the announcement that UF will host its Pro Day on March 28 in Florida's Indoor Practice Facility.
Coach Mullen spoke at halftime of Florida's men's basketball game on Jan. 27 where he pumped up the crowd as he referred to what he calls the "Gator Standard."
"We are going to give you a football team, I promise you, that you can be proud of both on the field on Saturdays and in the community,'' Mullen said that day. "Our guys are working their tail off right now to live up to what we know the 'Gator Standard' is."
In mid-March, fans can watch the first two practices as Mullen continues to implement the "Gator Standard" with his team.

Spring practice will conclude with Florida's annual spring game, which is free to all fans, on April 14 at 3 p.m. The 2018 Orange & Blue Game, presented by Sunniland, will be held that afternoon in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
