GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Three signed national letters of intent to play with the University of Florida soccer team this week.

"Really powerful player, strong, fast, very skilled. I have a strong connection with her family as I went to college with her dad and her mom went to the same college a little after me. We are really excited that Cassidy's brother, Cam, just signed with the Orlando pro club. So she'll have her brother in Orlando and she'll be in Gainesville. It will be exciting to have them in the same state."

"I'm very excited about Mary because her ceiling is yet to be reached. Think she will explode when she gets here and not just as a soccer player. I think she has a lot of good leadership qualities too. She comes from a family that already knows all the Gator traditions and is well steeped in Gator history."

"Another addition to this class was a January transfer, Carina Baltrip-Reyes. Carina adds much needed depth at outside back. She also is someone who has a huge engine. She has the ability to get up and down the field. She is one of those people who does her job and you don't really hear a lot from her. She is all business. She has already joined our team and has integrated really well into our existing team. We are excited she's here."
The Gator soccer team made its 21st NCAA Championship appearance in 2017, reaching the NCAA Elite Eight.
