GAINESVILLE, Fla.--The Florida baseball team hosts a three-game series against Stony Brook this weekend, beginning Friday night at McKethan Stadium.

The series opener is Friday at 6:30 p.m. All three games this weekend will stream live on SEC Network+ via the WatchESPN app.

SERIES HISTORY

Florida is 4-0 all time against Stony Brook. The last time the two teams met, Florida swept the Seawolves in a three-game series in 2015.

• Florida's seven-game win streak to open the season is tied for the best start in 11 seasons under head coach Kevin O'Sullivan. The 2011 Gators also started 7-0 and finished with a school record 53 wins.
• Through the first 10 games, the UF bullpen has allowed just four runs over 35.0 innings of work (1.03 ERA). Six different pitchers have yet to allow a run out of the pen, led by Michael Byrne (5.1 IP), Jack Leftwich (6.0 IP) and Tommy Mace (6.0 IP).
• Senior JJ Schwarz has four home runs this season, tied with Jonathan India for the team lead. Schwarz now has 41 career home runs and 199 career RBI. He now ranks fourth all-time in UF history in career RBI and fifth in home runs.
• Junior Blake Reese leads the team with 11 RBI this season. Entering 2018, Reese had just 12 RBI in his career. He also has six multi-hit games this season after having just three multi-hit games prior to 2018.
