Gators and FSU Meet in Jacksonville

The Florida baseball team will travel to Jacksonville on Tuesday for a midweek matchup against fifth-ranked Florida State at 6 p.m. it is the second of three meetings in the 2018 Fresh from Florida Sunshine Showdown.
46905GAINESVILLE, Fla.--The Florida baseball team will travel to Jacksonville on Tuesday for a midweek matchup against fifth-ranked Florida State at 6 p.m. it is the second of three meetings in the 2018 Fresh from Florida Sunshine Showdown.

The Gators enter the matchup having won 11 of the last 12 meetings between the two schools. Florida swept all three games last season.

SERIES HISTORY

Florida has won 11 of the last 12 meetings against Florida State, including six in a row -- the Gators longest win streak ever over the Seminoles. Head coach Kevin O'Sullivan is 23-16 against FSU.
