She is the second Gator tennis player in the award's 15-year history to pick up the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year honor.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – University of Florida senior Josie Kuhlman is the Southeastern Conference Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She received her award prior to the start of Florida's SEC Tournament quarterfinal match Friday at the Barksdale Stadium on the campus of the University of Tennessee.
A vote of the league coaches determines the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Kuhlman is Florida's second SEC Scholar-Athlete in the award's 15-year history. Jennifer Magley was the Gators' first in 2005.
She joins senior Alex McMurtry (gymnastics) as Gators to earn SEC Scholar-Athlete honors in 2018.

Owns a 4.00 grade point average in Public Relations
2017 NCAA Elite 90 Award recipient (given to student-athlete with top grade point average at each of the NCAA's 90 championship events)
