
Dalton Named SEC Player of the Week

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Sophomore Wil Dalton was named the SEC Player of the Week for his performance last week, the Southeastern Conference Office announced on Monday.
Dalton is the third UF player to be honored this season. JJ Schwarz was named SEC Co-Player of the Week last week and Jonathan India was the SEC Player of the Week on April 2.

4 GP/GS, .263 (5-for-19), 10 RBI, 3 HR, 3B, 4 R- Dalton had just five hits on the week but he made them count, racking up 10 RBI in four games
- He totaled 9 RBI in two wins at Kentucky with two three-run homers and a three-run triple
- Four of his five hits went for extra bases: 3 HR and a triple
- He hit three home runs, bringing his season total to a league-leading 15 on the season
- Dalton also now leads the SEC with 45 RBI on the year
