AS A FRESHMAN (2017): Made 10 appearances as a true freshman with four starts…Posted a 1-0 record with a 4.74 earned run average over 19.0 innings…Made first career start against UCF on February 28 and pitched 3.0 scoreless innings with a season-high five strikeouts to earn his first win…Followed with his best outing of the season, starting against Florida State and pitching 5.0 scoreless innings as the Gators beat FSU 1-0.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Drafted in the 40th round by the New York Yankees in the 2016 MLB First-Year Player Draft…Rated the No. 1 right handed pitcher in Wisconsin and the No. 3 player overall by Perfect Game; ranked 39th among right handed pitchers nationally…Named First Team All-State and First Team All-District as a senior by the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association…A finalist for the 2016 Top Senior Pitcher Award from Wisconsin Sports Network…Named to the 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game Preseason Central Region First Team…Led Arrowhead to a 29-3 record as a senior as they advanced to the Wisconsin Division I State Tournament Final and No. 24 national ranking in the USA Today Super 25…Pitched a complete game (7 innings) and allowed just one unearned run with 10 strikeouts in a 2-1 win in the WIAA Semifinals…Had a 7-1 record in 2016 with a 0.89 earned run average while batting .427 as an infielder…Invited to and participated in the 2016 Super 60 event…Earned Honorable Mention All-District Honors as a junior in 2015…Became just the third ever player drafted directly out of Arrowhead High School.
