Overview

  • Finished his career with 1,087 points, 530 assists, 329 rebounds and 182 steals in 137 games and 93 starts.
  • Named second-team All-SEC and SEC All-Defensive Team by the coaches as a senior.
  • Became the sixth player in SEC history and the first Gator to eclipse 1,000 points, 500 assists and 175 steals.
  • At the time his career wrapped, Hill ranked 47th in scoring, second in assists, fourth in steals and 10th in games played on UF’s all-time lists.
  • As a senior, he had top-10 single season totals in assists (161, 9th) and steals (60, t-6th). His 4.5 assists average ranked third in the SEC and his 1.7 steals average tied for fifth.
  • Has four career 10-assist games and three games with at least eight assists and one turnover or fewer.
  • Especially dangerous in transition and open-floor situations, Hill is an outstanding athlete with the ability to play above the rim.
  • Ranked in the top 10 in the SEC in assist-to-turnover ratio and assists as a freshman.
  • Posted his first career 10-assist game in the Sweet 16 vs. UCLA. He joins Magic Johnson, Jason Kidd and Keith Gatlin as the only freshmen in NCAA Tournament history with 10+ assists in a Sweet 16 game.

2016-17, Senior Season

  • Averaged a career-best 9.7 points per game and posted 161 assists, the ninth-best single season in UF history. His 60 steals also tied for the sixth-most in a season at Florida.
  • Became the 52nd member of the 1,000-point club in UF history.
  • Started all 36 games and earned second-team All-SEC and SEC All-Defensive Team honors from the coaches.
  • Earned his first career double-double with 11 points and 11 assists vs. Little Rock in the grand opening of Exactech Arena.
  • Erupted for 21 points, along with six assists and five rebounds, to lead the Gators to their most lopsided win ever over Kentucky, a 88-66 rout in Gainesville.
  • Became the first Gator since Nick Calathes to post 5+ points, rebounds, assists and steals in a game, going for eight points, five rebounds, five assists and six steals in the win vs. Ole Miss.


2015-16, Junior Season

  • Averaged 9.1 points and tallied 120 assists in 36 games with 17 started, while posting 53 steals.
  • Scored 18 points off the bench in each of Florida’s SEC Tournament games, the most by a Gator off the bench in an SEC Tournament game since Kenyan Weaks scored 18 in a game during the 2000 tournament.
  • Hit four straight free throws in the closing minutes at Ole Miss to stave off a Rebels rally bid. Also helped limit SEC leading scorer Stefan Moody, who finished with a 3-for-10 shooting night from 3-point range and six turnovers.
  • Co-led the Gators with 13 points in the win vs. Saint Joseph’s.
  • Posted eight assists with just one turnover against Oklahoma State, the third game of his career with an 8/1 or better assist-to-turnover ratio.

2014-15, Sophomore Season

  • Scored 7.2 points per game and dished 149 assists, starting in 32 of his 33 games played.
  • Led the Gators in minutes played (30.3), assists (4.5) and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.1) and ranked fourth in the SEC in assists and sixth in assist-to-turnover ratio.
  • In a three-game span vs. Kansas, Yale and Texas Southern, posted 25 assists vs. four turnovers.
  • First career 20-point game came in UF’s loss to North Carolina at the Battle 4 Atlantis, a performance that included 10-for-12 shooting from the free throw line.
  • Recorded the assist on Devin Robinson’s game-winning dunk with :02 remaining vs. Vanderbilt.
  • Converted a driving and-1 vs. Georgetown that put UF up by a point with 11 seconds remaining before the Hoyas hit a game-winner.
  • Had two 10-assist games, vs. Yale and at Georgetown.

2013-14, Freshman Season

  • Averaged 5.5 points and totaled 100 assists in 32 games with eight starts.
  • Ranked fourth in the SEC in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.0) and 10th in assists (3.1).
  • Led Florida in assists 16 times throughout the season.
  • Started eight games, including the first four of his career.
  • Made his debut and scored 15 points vs. UNF, becoming the first Gator freshman to start at the point since Nick Calathes and Jai Lucas shared duties in 2007.
  • Shot 2-for-2 from 3-point range in the win over Fresno State at the 2013 Orange Bowl Classic.
  • Went 4-for-4 from the free-throw line and totaled 10 points in the NCAA Tournament win against Albany.
  • In the win over UCLA, became just the fourth freshman to dish at least 10 assists in a Sweet Sixteen game, joining Jason Kidd (‘93), Keith Gatlin (‘84) and Magic Johnson (‘78). Hill also grabbed a career-best six boards vs. the Bruins.

Prep

  • Earned McDonald’s All-American honors and started the game for the East team.
  • Led Montverde to the NHSI championship as a senior, assisting on the game-winning basket.
  • The team was also named USA Today and PrepNation.com national champions and won the 2012 City of Palms Classic.
  • Also helped the team to a runner up NHSI finish in 2012, along with eventual Gator teammate Michael Frazier II.
  • Starter on the USA Basketball 2013 Nike Hoop Summit team, tallying four points and four assists.
  • Played in the 2013 Jordan Brand Classic and had 12 points, seven assists and five rebounds off the bench for the winning West team.
  • Helped Montverde to a 27-2 record as a senior and a 22-5 record as a junior.
