Overview

• Joined the Gators men’s basketball team as a walk-on in Fall 2015.
• Also a jumper on the men’s track and field team, Victor is Florida’s only current two-sport athlete.
• Finished seventh in the high jump at the 2015 SEC Outdoor Championships.
• Will focus on basketball during the season and resume jumping for the outdoor season after the basketball season is done.

Prep

• A three-sport athlete who played basketball, football and track & field at Celebration.
• Led the basketball team to its first ever 20-win season and once hit a full-court buzzer beater to defeat rival Gateway.

Personal

• Son of Junie Victor, siblings are Julise Jacinthe, Juliette Victor and Geradar Victor. Geradar plays volleyball at Northwood University.
• Nicknames are Jhonny Boy and J.
• Favorite NBA player in Kevin Durant.
• Came to Florida because he was always a huge Gator fan since he was a child, it’s close to home and it challenges him academically as well as in competition.
• Never seriously considered another school because he visited UF and fell in love.
