National/International Competition

Gercsak boasts tremendous experience in both the 5K and 10K open water races, qualifying for the Beijing Games in the 10K race… Gercsak’s international experience extends from the Olympic Games to the World Championships, to the European and National Short Course Championships, and will provide Florida with a distance freestyle edge.

At Florida

2008-09: Joined the Gators mid-way through the season… A redshirt freshman candidate that did not compete for the Gators in 2008-09.

High School

Graduated in 2007 from high school at Csik Ferenc in Budapest, Hungary.

Born Csaba Gercsak on August 8, 1988, to Imre Gercsak and Eva Papp… Has five siblings Balazs (22), Tamas (18), Zoltanag, Dora (13), and Eva (6)… Enjoys music and movies in spare time… Is majoring in building construction.
