Student Basketball Ticket Procedures
Eligibility Requirements
Gator Basketball games are FREE for University of Florida students who pay the athletic fee. Students must maintain at least one (1) UF credit hour in order to be eligible to attend these games. UF online and PACE Students are able to attend for free if they opted in to pay the student fees. More information about those fees can be found here.
Registration
University of Florida students do not need to register for basketball games as a student pass will be loaded onto your account for you. A student pass does not guarantee entrance into Exactech Arena as the capacity is limited to the first 2300 students.
For information on how to access your student pass click here.
Entering the O’Connell Center on Game Day
Students will need to enter the O’Connell Center at Gate 3 starting 90 minutes prior to tip-off. Students must have their ticket and most recent Gator 1 ID card to enter the game.
All student seating is general admission. The first 650 students to enter the gate will receive a wristband to sit in the lower level.
How to Access Student Pass
Online/PaCE Students
Students who do not opt-in to pay the student fees, are able to purchase a ticket to sit within the student section for all men’s basketball games. The price of each game will vary, pricing is listed here and will be the blue third level section pricing. Students will register for the game they would like to attend, and then within 24 hours from tip-off of that game, they will be able to pay for their ticket. Students will receive an email before each game with instructions on how to pay for the ticket. Registration, guest tickets, and spouse tickets will be the same process.
Canceling a Registration
Students who claimed a ticket but cannot attend a game can return their ticket so that another student can claim their ticket. The deadline to return a ticket will be four hours prior to tip-off.
To return a ticket, please visit this link, select the event and then click on the 'return' button and follow the prompts. If you are returning a guest ticket the value of that ticket will be refunded back to the original method of payment after the game is played.
Married Students
Married students can purchase a ticket for their spouse for each game at the customer service table located inside Gate three (3) of the O’Connell Center starting two (2) hours prior to tip-off.
Men's Basketball Rowdy Reptiles Status
Students who attend at least eight (8) Gator Basketball games will earn Gator Basketball Rowdy Reptile status. Having Gator Basketball Rowdy Reptile status will allow students to register for games in advance.
*This is a different program than the Rowdy Reptile Student Rewards. The Rowdy Reptile Student Rewards program does not relate to your student basketball registration.
Student Seating
All student seating is general admission, first-come, first-serve. The student sections are: 09, 11, 13, 15 in the lower level and 107, 206-217 within the upper level.

Students with wheelchair and/or accessible seating needs for men’s basketball will need to enter through Gate 3 which is the Student Gate. If a guest/companion ticket is needed, they will need to be purchased at the box office located inside of Gate 3 once the doors open and students enter the building. Wheelchair and companion seats are located in sections 211 and 213, which are side court and part of the student section. In order to access sections 211 and 213 from Gate 3, students will need to use the elevator located near the practice court (enter the concourse and make a left). The elevator will let customers off at the top of section 121, students will need to make a right off the elevator and travel around the concourse until they arrive at sections 211 and 213. Students will be directed to specific seats within these sections when checking in at the box office in Gate 3.
