The lone goal of the match came in the first half at 28:16 when Duke forward Emily Feeney scored an unassisted goal from 10 yards inside left of the penalty box.  The Gators were held to a season-low five shots on goal and had only one shot in the first half.  The Duke Blue Devils had six shots in the first half and 11 total.

"The first half we felt like we came out kind of flat, but the second half we felt like we stepped it up and put a little bit more pressure on them," said Florida head coach Becky Burleigh.  "In a sense this may be good for us in getting our edge back going into the Southeastern Conference Tournament," she added.

The Gators conclude the regular season with their best regular season finish at 17-2 overall.  Florida's next match will be at the SEC Tournament in Lexington, Ky. against Tennessee on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 2:15 p.m.  Florida enters the tournament as the Eastern Division's top seed.
